Join us for our first annual HPBC Hopewell Museum Mardi Gras Party: Mardi Gras, 1934! With prohibition ending in December of 1933, this post-prohibition party is a celebration of the first Mardi Gras where Bourbon was allowed to flow freely. Come and explore Hartfield & Co. Distillery– Bourbon County’s first distillery since before Prohibition– and celebrate the Bourbon connection with New Orleans, Louisiana. The Baja Yetis, a nine-piece brass band, will set the tone for the Jazzy celebration, while Epic Cure Food truck will delight your taste buds with a New Orleans style menu. Slip on your best 1930’s attire, head piece and Mardi Gras mask (you might just take home a prize) and stylishly sip marvelous cocktails crafted by the Prichard & Bail Cocktail bar (located within the Distillery building).
Tickets are limited. Buy online through February 20 for $15 (www.hartfieldandcompany.com/mardi-gras-1934). Or, purchase at the door for $20. This is sure to be an extraordinary night that you don’t want to miss! Proceeds benefit HPBC/Hopewell Museum.
