Margaret Spratt, Ph.D. “Behind the Lines: American Women in France during The Great War.” Free & open to the public.
After receiving a Ph.D. in history at the University of Kentucky, Margaret Spratt was on the faculty at California University of Pennsylvania, near Pittsburgh, where she received the university’s research award for her co-edited book, Men and Women Adrift: The YMCA and the YWCA in the City. She has also taught and researched at the University of New England, the University of Southern Maine, Oberlin College in Ohio, and Smith College in Massachusetts. Margaret lives in Paris with her husband, Henry Wyatt, and Golden Retriever, Pete. She is a consultant for Making History Matter.
