Join us for a showing of The Paris 3: A Story of Justic, Unity, and Transformation, presented by Story Front. The Paris 3 tells how three young girls dared to confront segregation, inspiring a movement in 1961 that forever altered the small town of Paris, Kentucky. Showtimes are November 17th at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. and November 19th at 2 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.

Hopewell Museum Members! Join us for our annual member meeting & soup supper on November 18 at 6 PM. Chautauqua performer Simonetta Cochis will entertain us with her interpretation of Madame Mentelle (presented by Kentucky Humanities, with regional sponsors: PNC Bank, Kentucky Colonels, the Cralle Foundation and others). Join us on Wednesday, October 25th, from 5:30-7:00pm, to view the spectacular collection of Secretariat photos taken by the late renowned equine photographer, Tony Leonard. This exhibit is curated by our own Bobby Shiflet, of Frames on Main, from his extensive private collection of memorabilia. You won’t be disappointed! Join us for a celebration of the inventor Garrett Morgan, 100 Years of the Signal 1923-2023, on Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 2-5pm at the Hopewell Museum. We will have light refreshments and an unveiling of the model signal. Presented by Hopewell Museum and Paris Westside Neighborhood Association, Inc.

Fall Open House – Woodlawn/”Tucker House”, Aug. 19th

FALL OPEN HOUSE! This year’s featured home belongs to Steve and Cindy Stewart. The Woodlawn property, also known as the ‘Tucker House’, is located at 1519/1521 Peacock Road. Come see the extensive restoration of this beautiful Federalist-style home built in 1818. You’ll be guided through the house and yards, with detailed accounts of the renovation and history of the property. Saturday, August 19th, 2:00pm. Refreshments provided.
