Batik a Butterfly.
Bring the distinctive shape, color, and size of butterflies into a special environment. Use oil
pastels and a batik water bath method to create an insect with unique colorations in its own

As the world’s foremost graphic designer, your job is to design a new national symbol based on
the American flag. First, you’ll look back at how the flag developed and then you’ll make your
own banner flag using four specific criteria for the design. Grades 2-12 $1 per student. Call
